Steven Zhu
CEO, Trinasolar North America
Mr. Steven Zhu has more than 16 years of experience in the management of photovoltaic enterprises. He worked as Executive Principle at the Trina International School, and at GCL Solar as Chief Operation Officer of Global Power Sector, where he managed a portfolio of over 600MW of projects and over $600 million assets. Steven was the Head of the Project Development and Business Development departments at Trinasolar to develop projects globally. Steven was also the VP of Procurement handled Trina’s polysilicon supplies from 2005 to 2009 and was part of the NYSE IPO team in 2006.
Su Wang
Head of Finance, North America Region
Su Wang is the Head of Finance for Trina Solar North America, managing Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury. She has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry in Silicon Valley. Over her two-decade career, she played various finance leadership roles in the area of FP&A and controllership in the Semiconductor and other electronic manufacturing companies. She has a strong history of driving changes, optimizing operations, and fostering collaboration in a cross-functional and multi-cultural international environment. Prior to her industry experience, she was a management consultant with PWC Consulting in Canada and was also a senior associate at one of the largest investment banks in China. She is a CGA and earned her MBA from the University of Ottawa.
Mike Nelson
Head of Legal, North America Region
Michael Nelson has worked at Trina Solar US since 2013 and serves as Head of Legal Operations for the Americas region. Mr. Nelson supports the business operations of Trina from the importation through the sale and delivery of Trina products to the end-use customer, providing him with a thorough understanding of operating a commercial enterprise in a sales support-focused role. Mr. Nelson also supports Trina’s daily internal corporate legal operations.
